Generously sized, heavy and in fantastic condition for its age.....this chalk ware Sacred Heart shrine was made by the Penna Stationary Company.
The compartment in the back once held two candles and a crucifix and probably a bottle of Holy water as well. The statue is in wonderful condition with only a couple miniscule flakes of paint missing. The colors are subtle yet rich.....a very handsome piece.
Almost 12" tall by 10" wide and 6 3/4" deep. Weighs about 11 pounds.
